Evening.

"But, there are hours of lonely musing,
Such as in evening silence come,
when, soft as birds their pinions closing,
The heart's best feelings gather home."

From Charlotte Bronte's Evening Solace.

I must add that all these photographs are merely exercises. I played around with different shutter speeds to see what happened.
Any advice is more than welcome!

  1. Sere, these are beautifull! they are so atmospheric. the one with miri in just makes me want to curl up. and the other where you have the vicars light in the window it is so forboding - like a scene from "peeping tom" or "the night of the hunter" Darkness is looming and outside, beyond the desolate street, there is a source of cosy light, safe and normal, should it extinguish you may be left in the dark... alone? ahhhh I'm scaring myself!
